Sidemann was born in Lichtenberg in the Besmenian state of Sedakania. The family moved to Russheim, a small village near Lichtenberg, in 1971. Sidemann also spent his childhood there. In 1986 he started an apprenticeship as a roofer, which he successfully completed after two years. Between 1988 and 1991, Sidemann attended the University of Lichtenberg where he studied political science.

Theodor Walter Sidemann (born 13 May 1967) is a former Besmenian politician, who served as the 15th Prime Minister of Besmenia from 2012 to 2021.
