Daisuma Motor Co Ltd (Anikatian: 타오레이 자동차 회사, Taolei Jadongcha Hoesa), usually shortened to Daisuma is a Anikatian automobile manufacturer of automobiles, four-wheel drive vehicles, motorcycles, and a variety of other small internal combustion engines. Headquartered in Antiytia, Daisuma is a subsidiary of DN Group. Daisuma is marketed along with its parent and sister brands, Taolei, and Leicha. It is among the top Anikatian automotive firms and known throughout Pardes, mostly known for its range of motorcycles, compact and off-road vehicles.

History

1920s-1930s

Established in 1922 as Daesung Precision Industry as a producers of motorcycles and later began assembling cars in cooperation with Prestonian automotive brand Mizuma in 1924. Daisuma produced several Mizuma-derived vehicles for both domestic sales in Anikatian and for export into other countries. The company opened its first integrated automotive assembly plant in 1933, the Kyarosho Plant. Daisuma built the small Myeob range of cars until 1940, when production came to an end after start of the Great Eastern War when Prestonia invaded Anikatia. Production was directed towards helping the war effort and the factories were retooled for creation of military equipment.

1950s-1960s

After victory in the Anikatian Civil War the new single-party communist rule under the DSRA enforced industry consolidation. This forced Daisuma to give up passenger cars and focus entirely on light trucks and motorcycles. The revolution also ended any cooperations with the Prestonian automotive brand Mizuma. After Mizuma's withdrawal in 1967, Daisuma entered into a joint venture with with brands from Koskazgan Cooperative members along with a few nations such as Estovakiva which maintain cooperation.

1970s-1980s

Throughout the 1970s, Daisuma build light trucks and motorcycles. It diversified into the light four wheel drives and heavy vehicles market, including large and medium duty trucks, special military vehicles, lightweight cars, motor vehicle components, to include engines, and buses and mini-buses.

1990s-2000s

In 1993, the Anikatian government launched a plan to promote the production of low-cost cars for export. Daisuma was unable to satisfy the plan's conditions and was consolidated into Daesungkhu & Namkoong conglomerate. Daisuma was retained as domestic producers and Taolei took over and implemented the export operation. However following the fall of the DSRA Daisuma has had some success exporting its smaller low cost and economical vehicles into the Skanderan, Kasaishiman, and Ashizwean markets along with the Estovakivan, and Rodarion markets. It's vehicles have been locally manufactured in Rodarion in a number of joint-ventures with Rodarion firms and DN Group. It has also expanding to open and number of local manufacturing plants across Pardes such as the Evermore Plant, Ayton, Tippercommon.
