The 2021 Zalyk legislative election were held on May 14, 2021. All 57 seats of the Grand Khural were elected in first-past-the-post, constituency-based elections, and, indirectly elected Zalykia's next governor. Incumbent Khermen Osor stood for re-election, while Elya Yamanchev and Boris Yudin, both of whom stood in the last election, were the main opposition leaders. The resulting government formed the 5th convocation of the Grand Khural.
The buildup to the election wasn conducted mainly under the backdrop of increased repression by the central government towards Soravia's main opposition parties. The arrest of Rally for Zalykia's parliamentary leader, Donduk Kichikov, and later the arrest of Yashkul's incumbent mayor, Khunbish Nokhaev, prompted calls of election tampering from party officials. Internationally, the arrests were condemned by a myriad of countries including Azmara, Caldia and Estmere, as well as various human rights groups that included the Etrurian Maria Furelli Association and the Estmerish Liberty House.
The result showed a significant swing against the Patriots' Front and their policies in the region, with Rally for Zalykia securing the largest proportional of popular vote, becoming the first opposition party since 1983 to do so. The Front lost four seats to the Rally, while the latter lost one seat in Yashkul to the Front. Yudin's progressive and pro-Euclean agenda proved popular amongst Rally defectors who didn't vote for the incumbent party, but their seat total did not change. Independents held all four of their seats in the Khural.
