Vernon is a coastal port city in the Zamastanian province of Zian. It is the eighth-largest city in the province, with a population of 919,000. The city is a popular vacation spot for tourists as its mild climate, proximety to both the ocean and major cities like Tofino, Wingerton, and Kelowna, along with its smaller stature make it an appealing location. It is one of the oldest cities in Zamastan, having been inhabited for thousands of years by the Catica First Nations by at least 918 BC, before being settled by Caspiaan and later Skithan imperialists and incorporated in 1706.
