The History of Thrismari is traditionally divided into four separate periods: Prehistoric Thrismari (prior to 4,500 bce), Antiquity (4,500 bce to 645 ce), the Middle Ages (645 to 1500), and the Modern Period (1500 to the present).
The first humans to inhabit Thrismari began around 70,000 bce, with the first arrival of humans from Meredonne and Olivacia during the Paleolithic era. During the late Paleolithic groups of Slavic and Germanic peoples moved into Thrismari displacing many of the original groups that settled the continent, with most of these groups settled in the South and east of Thrismari. With the advent of settlements and agriculture marked the beginning of the Neolithic around 9,500 bce and spread slowly throughout Thrismari. Later in the Neolithic metallurgy was introduced with the use of copper and later bronze. Megalithic structures were comman place throughout Thrismari at this time. Thrismari saw additional migrations from Thuadia in the early Neolithic. The period of Antiquity began with the first city-states in Foxomexra and later Kakland. Later on the Ahian Empire went to dominate Eastern Thrismari and the Iaso Sea. Incursions within the empire would begin in around the 400s ce.
The fall of the Ahian Empire in 645 marked the end of Antiquity and the beginning of the Middle Ages. The Holy Empire of Gothia and the Atawari made claims to the successors of the Empire until their ends later one. Throughout the Middle Ages empires such as Foxomexra and several successors to the Ahian Empire rose and fell. Christianity and Islam became prominent in this era. At the end of the Middle Ages came the Renaissance. The Renaissance marked the beginning of the in Thrismari. Religious wars began with schisms in Christianity and other religions. The Age of Colonization began around this time with the discovery of Hirethia. During the 1660s the Yellow Wasting began and wreaked havoc throughout the world. After 1800 brought industrialization and urban expansion to Thrismari. The Red Death began in 1909 during the Great War, killing many. Following the Great War was the Era of Civil Wars in 1938. Two years later the Argdan Declaration was signed in the capital of Foxomexra.
The Civil Wars Era ended around 1980. The continent saw an oil crisis during the 80s. In the 21st century the eastern side of the continent is at war.
