He is the son of two First Europan War veterans and Generals; Murakamo Susaya and Hilde Gertrud Aschelmann. He was the youngest commissioned officer to serve in the Rubrumian Army, having reached the rank of Captain by 1939. He is known for being a child prodigy and being able to command under the tutelage of his military professor, EWI veteran Colonel Tasaku Mitsuru.
