Faramount	President	First past the post	The presidential election is indisputably rigged. The nation's de facto dictator, Mateo Terrone, has won every election since 1964 with over 99% of the vote.
Oyus	The Kera of the Matriarchy	No direct election	The Kera of the Matriarchy is a post that is hereditary and inherited upon abdication or death. The New Oyus Constitution mandates that if the Kera inherits the throne before the age of 16, that a regency council or regent rule in their stead. The National Congress, by majority vote, may also object to the heir's ascension if 2/3 vote in favor of the motion. Following a successful passage of the motion, a Regency Council is set up or the Lera's abdication is delayed until a new one is installed. Their installation starts with the National Congress presenting to the citizenry 3 candidates they have deemed fit to lead the nation, which the populace votes on whether or not these candidates are worthy of ascending the throne. In the case it is rejected, an additional 3 rounds of ballots are passed about in Oyus to the citizenry: the first, a lengthy list of potential candidates from the National Congress and leading figures in public institutions. The purpose of this ballot is to find which figures the citizenry approve of as potential leadership - they are able to mark as many names as they deem fit or reject the entire ballot again. The second ballot is a write-in only ballot that works to see if there are names not on the first ballot that the populace would like to see up for consideration. The final ballot is the Top 5 names checked off in the previous ballots distributed to the populace. They are distributed after The Top 5 are announced and given a month to campaign unless they reject the nomination. A fourth ballot is required between the 2 highest voted for candidates if they not one garnered at minimum 50.1% of the vote.
