The Second Great War (GWII), sometimes the Second World War, was a global conflict lasting from 19 May 1937 to 28 October 1943. It was the largest and deadliest conflict in human history, involving a majority of nations from every continent and spanning an unparalleled theatre of war.
During the interbellum period, tensions arose between Songha and the west regarding freedom of navigation in the Sea of Qes. After the Empire invaded and annexed the Rythenean protectorate of Hmukeaathale on 19 May 1937, war broke out between the two parties.
