Changlong, officially the Changlong Katranjian Autonomous Prefecture or Changlong AP, is an autonomous prefecture designated for ethnic Katranjians in the district of Xhipei. It borders the district capital of Xhishin on the southwest, Luziyca on the northwest and the prefecture of Yating on the southwest.
Changlong had been a normal prefecture of Xhipei until NMR 2294, when President-General Yunglang Antelope designated it as an autonomous republic for Katranjians as a show of affection towards the newly-founded Katranjian Liberationist government. The prefecture became a focal point for Namo-Katranjian trade; its significance to Namo-Katranjian relations increased in the NMR 2310s and NMR 2320s, as Katranjiev's isolation worsened and the regime relied more on Namor as a result. Both Changlong and Yating accepted thousands of defectors fleeing Katranjiev, and the Katranjian population increased. After the restoration of the monarchy, some Katranjians in Changlong returned to Katranjiev, although most indigenous Katranjians stayed. The outflow of Katranjians from Changlong was compensated by the influx of Kannei Namorese from other parts of Namor and Riro, leading to Katranjians making up 60% of the prefecture's population as opposed to 75% prior to the emigration.
