The Prokhogorsk national football team is the men's football team which represents Prokhogorsk in association football and is controlled by the Prokhogorsk Football Association (PFA), the governing body for football in Prokhogorsk. The team has represented Prokhogorsk in international competition since it's creation in 1886. In 1893 the national team was disbanded under the Socialist government, but with the inauguration of the PFA in 1925 as part of the Association Football League of Arcaeius (AFLA), the team was re-established. Since 1952, the team has represented the nation in the Arcaeius World Cup.

Along with being one of the oldest national football teams in Esermia, it is among the most successful and prolific. It is regarded the team was born from the sporting rivalry with Bavmark, with Prokhogorsk having their first match and victory against Bavmark on 18 October 1886. The team has won a total of three Arcaeius World Cups (1968, 1984, 2004), and two Zarov Cups (1994, 2002). The current manager and head coach is Slava Ogechia.

Kit

PX Spatazy is the historically longstanding kit provider for the Prokhogorsk national team, and is one of the largest sporting sponsors in the nation and Esermia. The partnership began in 1950 with Spatazy, now a subsidiary of PX (Parid-Xelev), with the contract set to continue until 2020.

The national team's kit has always been a combination of the Prokhogorsk national colours. During the Republic of Prokhogorsk, the kit derived from the colours of the national flag, with a dark blue shirt, white shorts and white socks. Yellow and gold dye pigments were more difficult and expensive to manufacture at the time, so this national colour was not included in the kit. With the inauguration of the PFA in 1925 after the fall of the Socialist Union, the kit became a combination of blue and white accents. In 1952, red was introduced into the kit design, however with the foundation of UNISOC in 1968, red again became a colour directly linked to socialism, causing much controversy. The kit was changed for the 1972 World Cup to feature gold colours instead of red, which more suitably represented the newly established constitutional monarchy in Prokhogorsk.
