Harold Lam International Airport (IATA: NCO, ICAO: NICO) (Shangean: 林秉燭國際機場) is an international airport in Kongchun, North Bay, Nakong, located 19 kilometres southeast of Ningcho's city centre. It is the main airport serving the Nakongese capital city of Ningcho, the surrounding North Bay region, and northern Nakong more generally, with two runways, three passenger terminals and a cargo logistics hub. It is additionally one of two major airports serving the Ningcho area, along with Ningcho North Airport. Opened in 1929 as Ning Chow South Aerodrome (later Ningcho South Airport), the airport was renamed in 1978 in honour of Harold Lam Ping-yuk, the founding Prime Minister of Nakong between 1958 and 1972. The airport is managed by the National Airports Authority, an instrumentality of the Department of State for Transport.
The busiest airport in Nakong by both passenger and cargo movements, Harold Lam is the hub airport for the flag carrier Nakonair and the budget airlines Yellow Dragon Airlines and Air Fuisan. Ground connections to Ningcho city centre and other local destinations are provided by the Ningcho Area Metropolitan Railway (Metro), while a dedicated shuttle service offers a connection to Ningcho South Station on the Ningcho–Patlin high speed railway. In terms of cargo traffic, Harold Lam is a major logistics hub for the export-oriented Nakongese economy, with the cargo airline Nacon Airlines maintaining a major terminal at the airport.
