Despite the physical distance, Zhenia maintains strong ties with Toloria, as the two nations are political and economic allies.
In 2003, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade formally designated Toloria as a "key strategic partner" as a part of Zhenia's revision in foreign policy to increase focus on Dihara and Ibora. The Zhenia Space Agency currently co-owns and operates the Bukdu Communications Station in northeastern Toloria along with the Tolorian Space Administration.
