O Fora da Lei (Lusitan for "The Outlaw") is a Hallandic mafia film written and directed by Maracan director Dado Cardoso and released worldwide by Ellen Media Group in 1977. It stars Maracan actors Thiago Silveira, Samuel Vaz, Rodrigo Azevedo and Henrique Mendez and Hallandic actors Landen McKinney and Eddie Read. The film tells a story of a mafia defector and whistleblower in Porto Leste who quickly finds his life at risk as he is hunted by the mafia and shunned by the government.

Considered a pinnacle of gangster film, O Fora da Lei received extensive critical acclaim when it was released in 1977, winning the béco aùreo at the 1977 Montecara Film Festival and firmly placing Cardoso as one of Halland's premier directors. The film is often considered a classic 70s film, and was the first Lusitan-language film to win the béco aùreo, the first Maracan film to win the award and the first gangster film to win the award. The film drastically influenced overseas opinion of the Maracan government and was banned in Maracao by Leonardo Alcântara in 1978.
