The House of Reich is the reigning royal house of Aquitayne. It is descended from the [] branch, who ruled Aquitayne before the Empire of Exponent took over the country in 1563 after House Kon'rei overthrew the reigning monarch, []. The House of Reich regained the throne in 1741 after they achieved victory during the Aquitaynian War of Independence. Their rule was codified in the Constitution of Aquitayne, and have been seated on the throne ever since. There have been some attempts to regain the throne from other royal households, though none have been successful.
