Aquitayne has Astyria's seventh largest economy by nominal figures and the eighth largest economy by PPP figures. It has the third-largest economy on Lorecia, with ViZion and Nouvel Ecosse in 1st and 2nd. The Aquitaynian National Stock Exchange (ANX) is headquartered in Telora, the nation's capital.

The agricultural industry is key in Aquitayne, driving export and food and beverage growth throughout the nation. Coupled with that are the mining and Template:Chemical industry which help to develop other manufacturing jobs within the nation as well as providing the necessary raw materials for export to Symphonia for refinement and processing, who is by far Aquitayne's largest trading partner. Aquitayne's tourism industry is strong, with the nation being one of the top destinations in Astyria due to the country's relatively mild climate, scenic beaches and alpine hiking.
