The Confederate Party, often referred to as the Confederates, is a centre-left political party in Brytene. It currently holds 56 seats in the Thegn Rede, and Sofia Mercada, Eorl of Anglaland, is a member of the Confederate party. For almost a decade, between 1996 and 2014, it was the largest party in each successive Thegn Rede.
Platform
The Confederate Party believes in luck egalitarianism and social justice, although it accepts that a total wage equality is neither practical nor desirable. It believes in upholding personal freedoms, liberal values, and environmental causes, and is largely non-interventionist in foreign affairs.
