Powers
Legislating
It is the right and authority of the Emperor's Law Council under the Basic Rights Of Makko Oko to draft and approve laws and amendments for recommendation to the Emperor Of Makko Oko for enactment. Unlike traditional parliaments, the Emperor's Law Council has no official authority to enact laws, and merely approves laws to then recommend they be enacted by the Emperor, who does hold that power.

Meetings
The Emperor's Law Council has meetings called "sessions" that are of a random basis, which can be one week in length, month, year, etc. and may be stopped at any point by the Emperor, and only the Emperor.

1st Session
The 1st Session of the Emperor's Law Council began on August 30th, 2022 beginning with the Civil Rights Act on the agenda.

The 1st Session, being the very first once since its inception, is made up of a majority of judges, and not many lawyers, but some are still present. The list of members are:
