The National Tertiary Accreditation Council, also referred to as NTAC, is a government post-secondary regulation agency in the Empire Of Makko Oko under the directive and control of the Ministry of Education & Propaganda. Its mission is to service the adults of the Empire and ensure the good education of them.

History

The National Tertiary Accreditation Council was formed under the Ministry of Education & Propaganda upon the enactment of the Adult Education Act Of 2023. Originally, the ministry had no statutory authority to regulate higher education in any form, and recent regulatory pushes made by the Phoenix Islands' government led to calls by Minister Mike Bachmeier for national power in this regard, to not only have checks and balances on the islands, but also to have legal avenues for regulating the nationally-bound institutions and courses.

Organization

NTAC is a government agency made up of experts, the Commissioner and a small committee formed and chaired by the Commissioner themselves that has final say over matters like disputes and the curriculum of higher education in the nation, or MONTC.
