The 48th Armoured Division or the Lucian 48th Armoured Division is a division of the Lucis Army that first served during the Second Europan War and was one of the first divisions created during the mass recruitment drive in the 1930s in response to the strong Imperial aggression at that time. Initially designated as an infantry division, it was decided that the division would be included in one the roster of Lucian armoured divisions.
The Division fought in Europa, Africanna, and in Joyonghea, where the division lived up to its moniker of "The Battleaxe Division". It became the first Lucian division ashore on Joyonghea and breached a strongpoint at the Baker section of which none have been able to take.
