Rasig was an Ethlorek city-state in east-central Trellin. It was a vassal of the Kingdom of the Nersa, created in 1023. It was a key city on the east-west trades, and after a hurricane destroyed the Fords of Flotir in 1196 it became one of only two cities below Asketon where the Flotir could be crossed. This spawned a rivalry with the Ja'ekhan vassal city of Meharz and the War of the Two Ferries, a major conflict on the northeastern Sea of Velar. Rasig was annexed to the Kingdom of the Isles of Velar under the terms of the Treaty of Konoros in 1276.
