Her Majesty's Armed Forces, commonly referred to as the Cacertian Armed Forces, and rarely as the Armed Forces of the Cacertian Crown, are the armed forces of the Kingdom of Cacerta. Cacerta's military is made up of three professional uniformed services: the Royal Navy, the Royal Air Fleet, and the Royal Army.
The Commander-in-Chief of Her Majesty's Armed Forces is the Cacertian monarch, Queen Anelyn I, to whom members of the forces swear allegiance. Under Cacertian constitutional law, the armed forces are subordinate to and managed by the Kingdom's Ministry of Defense who—in turn—answers to the House Assembly. Although Cacerta's military swears fealty to the Monarchy, the de facto authority over the armed forces lies with the Prime Minister.
The Cacertian Armed Forces are charged with protecting the Kingdom, its overseas territories, military allies, other security interests, as well as supporting international peacekeeping efforts.
