Karodova, officially known as the Republic of Karodova is a nation located in Nezlotah in the world of Greater Olympus. It is bordered on the South by Anahitta. The Republic spans an area of 5,333,577 km², with a population of 72,664,704.
Etymology
History
Historians suggest that first proto-Karodovan tribes first settled along the southern lakeshore overtime they expanded east towards the coasts of the Relias Sea.
The Republic was founded 1834, after rising dissent against the march and being inspired by recent revolutions that have occurred in Lira, such as the one that occurred in the Revolutionary Republic of Winst. 1836 is when a formal constitution was ratified, which guarantees regular elections and the end to feudalism.

The Republic of Karodova is a bicameral unitary semi-presidential republic, where the president is elected every 5 years by popular vote. The current president is Michał Styczynski. The Parliament is split into two bodies, the Senate and the House of Representatives. The current prime minister is Witold Plachta. The prime minister appointed by president normally from the majority party, who will then propose a cabinet. Using the proportional system Karodovan voters elect a government for the House of Representatives. For the upper house FPTP is used, where the most popular candidate is chosen for every constituency.

Military
The military is made up of 0.63% of the population or 414,189, due to the increasing instability in Lira the government has been conducting widespread recruitment campaigns. Karodova take pride in maintaining it's air force, it is well equipped with aircraft sourced from the local aerospace industry. The navy has mostly been focused on protecting the trade routes of Karodova, it regularly conducts anti-piracy patrols. One weakness the with navy is that it has mostly been oriented for projecting it's power overseas, more so than defence.
Economy
The economy of Karodova can be described as a mixed market system, which includes some protectionist policies. Manufacturing is the biggest contributor to the economy of Karodova which is at 47%, but closely followed by the tertiary sector which contributes 41%. The aerospace industry is one of the most prominent industries of the nation, producing large aircrafts and military aircrafts. Together with the aerospace industry air cargo services are a sizeable of the economy, specialising in the transport of oversized cargo. Digital media along with the IT industries make Karodova a hub for the development of games, software, and cybersecurity.
