Each year the national legislature of Dau Sel passes a national budget.
Funding
The government of Dau Sel is mainly funded through a mix of taxes and income generated by state run industries.
Taxes
State Industry
The largest contributing industry to government funding is Ol Násúnta na Dæsala (Dau Sel National Oil). All profits accumulated by what is considered to be the single largest oil supplier in Greater Olympus are kept in an account to be used to support the government budget. Based on a 1997 law regarding environmental regulations within Dau Sel, a majority of the Department of Environmental Protection's annual budget comes from this fund.
