Populares (Anglic: Favoring the People of the Empire) is a faction in the Latin Senate. It is the oldest extant faction, having contested in every election since 1870. From 1870 until the late 1940s, the faction was centered around the principles of Senatorialism. The Social War and its immediate aftermath led a shift in Senatorial politics, with the absorption of the Optimates and a shift away from Senatorialism to Claudianism, based around the theory of a strong emperor.

Today, the faction is the second largest faction in the Senate with 273 members.
