The Haimajika (Magian:ハイマジカ, High Magica) of Magia Regnum is the executive leader as well as the most senior position in Magia Regnum. The Haimajika is the only individual who is able to speak with the Ōrumaiti on a regular basis and is invested with significant religious influence and domestic policymaking. The Haimajika also represents the Ōrumaiti to its own people, and represents the nation to the rest of Sparkalia. The Haimajika also fulfills many ceremonial duties mostly dedicated to the Ōrumaiti.

History

Appointment

The Haimajika is chosen among those of the Gaidansu who, in the eyes of the Ōrumaiti, represents the purest and most ideal magical girl as well as the one who has the most aptitude to hear and communicate with the Ōrumaiti. The Haimajika serves until either disability, death, or unforeseen circumstances otherwise depose of them. When a new Haimajika is chosen, the members of the Gaidansu will meditate in insolation until the Ōrumaiti reveals herself to the one chosen. Typically this is a member of the Gaidansu, but it is not unheard of for the Ōrumaiti to call upon a worthy magical girl from beyond the organization.

Qualifications

  • Must have signed a contract
  • Must be a member of the Kotoba (Typically, with exceptions)
  • Must have a high affinity for magic
  • Must be able to communicate with the Ōrumaiti

Role

Official office and residence

Located near the Shinseina-ro building, the Office of the Haimajika is called the Sentaku mēkā. The proximity of the office gives the Haimajika both access to the rest of the Kotoba as well as the Ōrumaiti directly as she regularly communicates with her. The residence of the Haimajika and the Sentaku are linked by a walkway.
