Kurdajar, also known as Kurdar, is the second-largest city of Zalluabed with a population of 1.3 million people. It is located on the coast of Zalluabed Bay and is home to a major port and key transport networks. Founded as a trading post for the Emmirian Empire, Kurdajar grew rapidly and became a major center of south Adulan civilization and for a time was Zalluabed's capital until it was moved to Zakaraban. Kurdajar is a popular tourist destination and an important industrial center due to its natural gas and oil pipelines from Hisrea. It was at one time the largest city in the ancient world before being eventually overtaken by Hazarabad.

The city was a major center of early Christianity as it expanded across Adula from Verdusa and was the center of the Patriarchate of Kurdar, which was one of the major centers of Christianity. When Islam spread with the Emmirian Empire, local sultans allowed churches to remain and the city hosts Zalluabed's largest Christian population in the modern day. From the late 18th century, Kurdajar became a major center of the international shipping industry and one of the most important trading centers in south Adula, both because it profited from the easy overland connection between the Albarine and Emmiria Seas and the lucrative trade in cotton and spices. In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the city's economy has suffered from international sanctions placed on Zalluabed.
