Tony Blanian is a Constantioan politician and economist who is the 44th President of Constantio, having been elected to his first term in 2017 and reelected to a second in 2021. He is a member of the New Democracy Party and has been the leader of the organization since 2014. Prior to the presidency, he served as an MP in the Assembly of Constantio for Ganilia's 12th seat from 2006 to 2017.
Blanian's presidency has been met with varied reception, both praise and criticism. Blanian's foreign policies have been credited for strengthening ties within the Sotoan Basin Union and bringing about a peace resolution in Syraranto at the end of its civil war. However, some of his administration's economic policies have been scrutinized for raising taxes on low-income earners. The administration's approach to the Syrarantoan refugee crisis and its humanitarian issues have been criticised, and the surveillance leaks of 'Forest Fire' and the government's unsanctioned use of Bullhead servers to monitor user data has been widely condemned.
