The Gulf of Danguk is an ocean basin and a marginal sea of the Hanmaru Ocean, completely surrounded by continental Tarsis and the Danguk Peninsula. It is surrounded by modern-day Zhenia on three directions and connected to the ocean to its southeast. A handful of Zhenian provinces border the Gulf to the west, east and north: the coastal Zhenian provinces facing the gulf form what is known as the Golden Arc area, due to the high density of Zhenian population in such regions.
Geologically, the Gulf of Danguk was formed around 250 million years ago as a result of plate tectonics.
