Cartaganca (Rodavese: Cartaganca) is a city on the coast of southeastern Produzland. It is the capital and largest city of the state of the Rodaves, as well as the second most populous municipality of Produzland. With a population of 1.6 million within city limits, its urban area extends to numerous neighbouring municipalities within the Province of Cartaganca and is home to around 3.2 million people. It is one of the largest metropolises of southern Lira, located on the coast between the mouths of the rivers Casadesús and Gusó.
Founded as an Orthurian city, in the Middle Ages Cartaganca became the capital of the Republic of the Rodaves. Cartanganca continued to be an important city in the the Rodaves as a major trading city of southern Orthuria as an economic and administrative centre of the republic, and even after merging with the Kingdom of Produzland it remained the capital of the Kingdom of the Rodaves as a component realm within the Kingdom of Produzland.
