Anayvaii Services Incorporated, also known as Anayvaii, is a privately-owned, state-authorized, telecommunications and transportation company in the Empire Of Makko Oko. Anayvaii was originally founded as RCPSC Anayvaii under the Republic Communication & Public Services Corporation on January 1st, 1991 by a Presidential Decree by President Julius Knudsen, which within that same order also founded the RCPSC, and made him in charge of both.

Etymology

The word Anayvaii, is a compound word of "Every" and "Where" in Makuri.

History

Prior to Founding

Prior to the founding of RCPSC and Anayvaii, infrastructure wasn't guaranteed and was actually decentralized, being managed by each tribe respectively, rarely working together. Upon the formation of the Republic, the government sought to change that. Named Tribal Support Councils, or TSC's, President Knudsen sought to offer the various tribes a buyout with a promise of him being the sole operator. All TSC's approved of the buyout and merger.

Founding of RCPSC & Anayvaii

Around the end of 1990, Julius Knudsen began drafting plans for a government-run and guaranteed system, or really, a government-run corporation. Everybody was against the plan for the potential of corruption and non-tribal peoples operating the business. Julius heard this and so on January 10th, 1991, officially enacted the "Directive On Public Services", which also established an independent board that decides at any given point who is to run the company. Some tribal people rejected this plan but Julius called it "a compromise" and on January 11th, Julius elected 5 people to the board, one of whom being himself. The board can't be removed or controlled by government, with only the President being able to add but not remove people.

At the same time, Julius elected himself the first Director of the Republic Communication & Public Services Corporation. The Parliament questioned this move as "an attempted coup to secure themselves a permanent job" but nothing came of that. On January 30th, 1991, Knudsen formed RCPSC Anayvaii to offer telecommunication and transport services, and appointed himself CEO of it.

Growth Of Anayvaii

After Anayvaii was formed, President Knudsen led a drastic transformation of infrastructure that by 1992 had seen the quality of life increase over 1,000%. Some other private entities had been formed and tried to compete but most ended up being local, and a quarter of them were bought out by the government later on. In telecommunications, Anayvaii got off to a very slow start, with their main job being the promotion of local manufacturing of technology equipment, with partnerships with Stanford Cellular and Makko Telecom happening later on to help increase the growth and consumption rate.

A New Term & Knudsen's Bribing Of Parliament

The company had continued to grow at a consistently increasing rate, mainly in transport services. Telecommunications had been a slow road for the company, but still profitable by 1995. When the elections came up and Knudsen wasn't running for another term, many began to become worried about the future of Anayvaii, but in an expose in 2002, it had turned out that Julius, back in October of 2000, had bribed members of Parliament to enact legislation to free Anayvaii from RCPSC, and let it be his own company. That ended up occurring in March of 2001, with RCPSC Anayvaii becoming Anayvaii Services Incorporated by December of that year.

The Department Of Justice declined to indict them on charges of bribing a public official due to them still being President at the time and having immunity.

Anayvaii's Almost Abandonment Of Telecommunications & Reinvention

As time moved on, the telecommunications industry in the nation had started to become oversaturated, with over 120 companies in the sector by 2003. Julius had considered for a time, selling off the telecommunications infrastructure of Anayvaii, until one Thomas Kuster, who was at the time the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Anayvaii, had proposed the idea of subletting infrastructure to allow companies to come onboard and use the service, but everything else they manage themselves.

Julius liked the idea and formed a plan with a partner, and by April of 2006, it had launched, and Thomas had coined the term, MVNO, or Mobile Virtual Network Operator. This was the only carrier in the nation with the infrastructure setup to handle leasing and subletting of it to other companies and operations, for a good couple of years. By late 2007, it had made the company over $300M SLO's in profit. This led to the plan to sell being canned.
