The Mab' Tzakab is one of the Bolon Tzakab', nine of the twelve government departments of the Mutul Government. It take part in the gestion of the K'uhul Ajaw personal finances, control the use of its funds, and manage the revenues of the Divine Lord. As a result, it is a significative part of the Mutul economy even though it does not set policies or laws nor does it propose a government budget to the Three Blessed Courts.

Missions and Organisation

The Central Services of the Treasury, based in K'alak Muul, pilot a network of local General Treasuries which administer more closely at the provincial or regional level the royal assets, investments, and are in charge of recovering the proceeds of these activities as well as collect taxes, including tariffs and Customs.

The Treasury is thus divided into two main branches: the Taxes and Customs Directory and the Divine House Conglomerate which handle all the societies, enterprises, and other properties owned by the K'uhul Ajaw as well as all of their financial actives and investments in the Mutul or elsewhere. Three other support services exist to help those main branches in their daily activities: Informatics, Budget, and Human Resources Services.
