Donghae North Province (Zhenian: 동해북도) is a Zhenian province in the northern edge of the Danguk Peninsula. Formerly comprising the Donghae Province alongside what is now Donghae South Province, it was formed by the division of Donghae Province into two adjacent provinces to the north and south. Situated on the northeastern coasts of Zhenia, it faces the East Zhenian Sea to its east, Donghae South Province to its south and Pyeongan Province to its north and west. Its provincial capital and largest city is Sanggyeong, although the latter title was once held by Changan from 1887 to 1914 until its elevation into a Metropolitan City in 1914.
