Time in Zhenia, by law, follows two time zones that covers all of Zhenia without observing daylight saving time - Zhenia Western Standard Time (ZWST), or UTC+07:00, which is seven hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time, and Zhenia Eastern Standard Time (ZEST), or UTC+08:00, which is eight hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. Although a third time zone - Haedong Standard Time, which was eight and a half hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time, was also existent until 2001, it is no longer used within the nation.
