The Lucis-Erebonian Wars of 1850-1858 was a conflict that began when the Erebonian Empire attempted to annex East Liberl, while the Ruzhite Empire attempted to annex Lucis Jutland and Western Aurucolia to its growing Empire. The Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance on the other hand wanted control of Bahatsva and the rest of Liberl. Both the United Kingdom and Aurucolia realised that if the three major powers would assert control of the territories, the balance of power in the region would prove to be consequential. With this, Sandor III immediately reached out to the Lucis Government to act on the Alliance. While the first engagements took place primarily in East Scandinavia, in 10 May 1850, Erebonian Navy ships sunk several Lucian ships docked in the Port of Hafnarfjörður in the Erebonian colony of Iceland. The provocation sparked anger in the Lucis Empire and immediately declared war against the Erebonian Empire. In June 1850, the first Lucian troops landed in the Lamarre Province of Erebonia. Volunteers throughout the Empire arrived on Scandinavia to support the war against Erebonia. Most volunteers came from the Colony of Basel-Ebel, which were mostly sent to East Scandinavia and fought beside Jutlanders and Aurucolians, while Gallians, Rubrumians, Concordians, and Nibelheimians fought in Erebonia and in the Gallian Homeland itself.

In 15 December 1856, a combined Lucian, Liberlian and Aurucolian forces soundly defeated the Imperials at the Battle of Lengenwagen, which saw the Allies inflict nearly 40% of casualties on the Imperial Army, prompting the East Europan Government to sign an early surrender at Beromance, Jutland.

In 1858, the Treaty of Kongsberg was signed, with Aurucolia and Lucis gaining vast tracts of land. The Erebonians surrendered Western Erebonia was to be turned over to the Lucis Empire and became the Dominion of Erebonia until 1920. Regions that were lost to Erebonia, Remiferia, and Ruzhite in the Treaty of Aarende following the Sandoric Wars were regained by Aurucolia. Liberl gained the Liberlian Corridor, uniting the lands of East and West Liberl. The Holy Trabian Empire gained the Antobagne Region from the Ruzhite Empire. Dalmasca gained the Nordic Islands as a Colony. And the Ruzhite Empire turned over the rule of the Peristylium State to Lucis, which would later establish it as a province of Rubrum.

The war would bring Erebonia its international recognition, being one of the most prominent English-speaking countries in Zemuria, as well as securing a place in the Commonwealth of Nations.
