Kari Claussell (17 February 1922) is a retired Erebonian officer who served during the Second Europan War and the War of Lorican Aggression.
Joining in the army in 1940, Kari was later on sent to the Middle East Campaign, where he was among the last members to join the Long Range Desert Group. Here, he would meet Yukio Kushineda Jr., Harry Magbaredge, David Weber, and Francis Crawford. The 5 men would go on to be a very close and tight group, even in their reassignment to Aurucolia, where the LRDG was renamed to Ragnite Company.
In the company, Kari is the radioman, often relaying orders and artillery strikes. He is also the brains of the company, being a college graduate of natural sciences, hence he also sketches anything around him, bringing a pen and a notebook. He also often uses nature against the enemy, much to Kushineda's delight.
Following the war, Kari married fellow company member Juno Klein and had 3 children together. Kari is the paternal great-grandfather of Fie Claussell, a member of the Leeves branch in the Thors Military Academy, Leeves Branch and later, a member of ILESOC.
