David Weber (19 May 1921) is a retired Rubrumian officer and military man who served during the Second Europan War and in the War of Lorican Aggression.
Born in Saskatoon, David had a passion for hunting. His favourite rifle was his own Lena Elfield SMLE that belonged to his father, a soldier who fought in the trenches of the First Europan War. At the age of 12, David got his first hunt. To his father's surprise, David wasn't keen on using a scope, hence David practices shooting using only the front sight. As a result, David developed remarkable marksmanship without the need of a scope. His skills were put to the test later on during the Second Europan War. David fought in Erebonia as part of the ERUAC force there. In some instances, David was able to take out snipers without the use of a scope. His skills impressed his superiors that he was eventually recommended for transfer to the Special Air Service.
Later on, David became a member of Ragnite Company, where he served as his company's sniper. David later on swapped his SMLE for the No. 4 Rifle, which he found to be more accurate and granted him more than 345 confirmed kills.
Following the war, he married Fiona Hazaford and continued his work as a sniper instructor in the Thors Military Academy, Leeves Branch. He returned to Rubrum and continued his instructor duties for potential marksmen later on. He is the paternal grandfather of ILESOC operative Kurz Weber.
