Nikolai Cherdenko (Kossmilian:Николай Черденко) is an Kossmilian politician and diplomat who is currently serving as the acting president of Kossmil, he became acting president after the assassination of President Mikhail Kuznetsov on 27 April 2021. He was also the first prime minister of Kossmil from 27 January 2021 to 27 April 2021 before becoming president, he is the founder and leader of the Traditionalist Party of Kossmil.

While he growing up, his family moved away from Kurgut to Dabatta escape the Black Brigade taking over the city but when he became 20 years old, He enlisted into the Dabatta Army without his parents knowing, he served from 1983 to 1999 in which his rank at the end of service was an captain in an infantry division he serviced, during the Kossmilian Wars. He left the army on medical reasons being that he was diagnose with Asthma, he became an diplomat after impressing Lavr Bunyachenko, leader of the Dabatta Republic and Mikhail Kuznetsov, Secretary of State of Dabatta Republic. Cherdenko was appointed as Dabatta Republic Ambassador to Zamastan from 2001 to 2010 before being appointed as foreign minister in the cabinet which he served from 2010 to 2020 while during his political and diplomat career he became good friends with Mikhail Kuznetsov.

He was one of the key negotiators on Kossmilian Wars peace agreement, 2020 Christmas Peace Agreement. He was picked and appointed to become first Prime Minister of Kossmil by Kuznetsov because he sees Cherdenko as good negotiator and one of the most loyal people that he can trust on the creation of the new government. During Cherdenko tenure as Prime Minister, his main agendas were on improving infrastructure in the nation, introducing new benefits support scheme for soldiers who had life changing injures or suffered from mental health problems from the wars, working with Kuznetsov on the Kossmil involvement in diplomatic relations in Coalition of Crown Albatross, example being Kossmil joining Trans Adula Fair Commerce Accord on 24 February 2021. When he became President, during his reign he introduces taxes on tobacco products, religious building and increase of taxes on business up to 10% but he also gain some criticisms during his tenure, one being when he made Kossmil join the Trans-Toyana Prosper Alliance which goes against Kuznetsov idea of Kossmil being neutral nation and another incident is Kossmil involvement in Hisrea War.

Early Life and Career

Nikolai Cherdenko was born on 17 April 1963 in Kurgut to Vladimir and Katerina Cherdenko, Vladimir owns and work on farm that produces wheat while Katerina is an housewife. Cherdenko work on farm helping father while growing up, but left the farm at night when he was 10 years old because his father got into an fight with an Black Brigade officer, they escape without any harm and that they settled down Dabatta as his parents has get new jobs with his father working in steel factory and his mother worked as nurse in the hospital as Cherdenko started at new school.

During Cherdenko school life he has gain an interest in History and Maths, his grades were an mix bag that he admits and that he struggles on the exams on some subjects but he passed barely. After he finished school, he struggles with finding an job but he decided he want to join the army but his parents rejected it, he still joined without telling his parents. He enlisted into the Dabatta Army and he place in an infantry division, he served in the army for 16 years until he was placed on medical as he was diagnose with Asthma.

After an year of Cherdenko discharge from the army, he was referred to Dabatta Republic foreign minster, Sergey Golovin by some of the high ups in the army as they saw a lot potential within Cherdenko mostly because of good negotiation skills and his also good knowledge of the Caticeze-English language which he learn on the side while in the army. Golovin with Lavr Bunyachenko and Mikhail Kuzentsov interview Cherdenko and they were impressed with his knowledge, they appointed him as diplomat and was send to Zamastan as Dabatta Republic Ambassador to Zamastan on 1st March 2001.

During his reign as Ambassador from 2001 to 2010, he met two Zamastan Presidents which are Camren Ellison and Cassious Castovia, he got along with both presidents.

Political career

In 2010, Cherdenko was appointed foreign minister by Lavr Bunyachenko on the recommendation by Mikhail Kuznetsov and previous foreign minister Boris Spasovski who was retiring from the role. During his tenure as foreign minister, him and Kuznetsov has created an friendship with talking a lot of about ideas for Kossmil future if they win the war, it gain more attention after Bunyachenko death on 2016 and Kuzentsov took over, with some seeing Cherdenko as Kuznetsov right hand man then the secretary of state during the time. He also became an mentor for Anton Krukov, who met when there was protests by the worker unions outside of the Kossmil Assembly with Krukov part it, he was impressed with Krukov speech on needed liveable wages and better work conditions.

Cherdenko was one of the key negotiators in the 2020 Christmas Peace Argeement between Dabatta, Leniya Union, People Republic of Vorotov.

Prime Minister (2021–2021)

He was appointed as Kossmil first ever prime minister by Kuzentsov, with a lot people in the Assembly backing it that they founded the Traditionalist Party with him as leader. some people question why he was picked but Kuzentsov back him with the reason of he can trust him and that he loyal to his idea of the an Democracy nation of Kossmil. Cherdenko made an agreement with his Krukov, who became leader of the People Party to form an provisional government with Krukov being appointed Deputy Prime Minister,

Personal life

Cherdenko is married to Svetlana Zubkova, He met her while he stationed at village close to the border to the Zhivir Islamic Republic during the wars, he described meeting her as love at first sight and they got married on 1985 with blessing from Zubkova parents, from the marriage they have two kids, one son and one daughter.

He can speak in fluent Caticeze-English, which is needed when he in Zamastan as an diplomat and he knows Drambenburgian but barely, he still have an translator with him to make easier. Cherdenko is big fan of sports and he follows his closest football team, Dmista FC as his home town don't have an team and big fan of motorsports, he also supports sport teams in Zamastan, Tofino Seals from the Zamastan Baseball League and Tofino United FC from the Zamastan Soccer League. Cherdenko enjoys a lot reading on his spare time with his favourite genres being sci-fi and fantasy, for other hobbies he admits that he enjoys fishing and bird watching but also enjoys playing poker.  

Cherdenko doesn't follow an religion but states that he agnostic even though that he was raised in very religious family in his childhood.
