Yukiko Sugiyama (29 June 1994) is a Lucian officer currently serving under Task Force 141 as part of the Lucian contingent.
Yukiko is the elder sister of Akiko Sugiyama. Both of them graduated in the University of St. Georgius. She was initially an accountant before she decided to enlist in the Lucis Army, following her grandmother's footsteps. She served during the Second Lucis Civil War and again during the Gallian Civil War, making her a veteran of the two previous conflicts. Yukiko was also known for saving the life of her grandmother and her sister during the civil war, when she hid them in her family's loft before having them evacuated to Tristain-La Fontaine.
She is also known for her bad culinary skills and dishes, in which most of her fellow task force comrades avoid eating.
