Taral-Rivoch Firearms (Prokho: Tарал-Ривоч Оружие, tr. Taral-Rivoch Oruzhiye), known as simply Taral-Rivoch or TR, is a Prokho defense manufacturer which produces the majority of the country's firearms for both the military and civilian markets. The company is known for specializing in the design and production of various assault rifles, submachine guns and marksman rifles. Taral-Rivoch pioneered in reliable and robust firearm designs during the mid-20th century and also spearheaded the development of the 7.62×40mm EST universal rifle cartridge after the formation of the Esermian Strategic Treaty in 1969.
