After studying for a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism at the University of Titania, Corne was employed at a local station of ZNN East in 1991 and later entered local politics as a member of the Green Liberal Party. He was elected mayor of Aurelia in 2000, and was later elected to represent Titania's 11th district in Congressional Hall in 2008.
