Sir John Sugiyama KG GCB CLE (11 August 1820 - 27 March 1909) was a Lucian field marshal known for his role during the Concordian Civil War. He was also known for his victories during the 1863 Invasion of Rubrum when he united all Colonial forces and defeated the invading Republican forces.

He is the grandfather of famous EWII General Archibald Sugiyama.

Early Life

John was born to Henry Sugiyama and Geraldine Deringer. His family traces its roots from Nihhonese merchants travelling from Nihhon-koku to Rubrum and the Peristylium then to Great Lucis. His grandfather was Albert Sugiyama, who would eventually be his driving force to enlist in the army.
