The Lucis Commonwealth Expeditionary Force to Balamb or the LCEFB is an expeditionary volunteer force consisting of Lucians, Erebonians, Rubrumians, Gallians, Jutlanders, and Bethausians which served alongside the Nationalist faction during the Estharian Civil War. It is considered by many to be one of the most important aid sent to the Nationalists, as the LCEFB consisted of more than 50,000 men, 120 tanks, 50 guns, and 100 aircraft lended by the RAF. Then-General Daidoji Kitagawa served as the force' overall commander while Brigadier Zaw Sein Arkar served as his liaison on the ground. The LCEF's most famous ground CO would be Captain Yukio Kushineda Jr., who would later create the Long Range Desert Group consisting mainly of LCEF troops.

Following the civil war, the unit returned to Lucis and was subsequently disbanded with its Bethausian contingent returning to Basel-Ebel as Arkar returned under then-General Archibald Sugiyama's command while Kitagawa was assigned as the new commander of the Lucis Commonwealth Armies in Erebonia.
