The 2019 World Cup, also called the 2019 Emerald World Cup, was an international football tournament contested by men's national teams and took place between 1 April to May 2nd, 2019 in Emerald, Zamastan. It was the 41st World Cup, a worldwide football tournament held once every year. It was the 4th time the championships had been held in Zamastan. At an estimated cost of over Z$27.2 billion, it was the most expensive world cup tournament ever, and it was hosted in four stadiums, seeing 32 teams participating in elimination rounds. Zamastan, the host nation, won the final match against Avergnon, beating them 4-1 for their 6th title. Timeria beat Cadair 2-1 for third place.
