Ori Original is a cinematic and visual playback audio enhancement technology developed by Solus Entertainment Corporation. The technology launched alongside the Ori B-06 on June 11th, 2023. Ori Original covers the playback only of motion pictures played in theaters using Ori technology. The Ori Original technology incorporates a complex algorithm that allows for the amplification and enhancement of sound frequencies that would otherwise be imperceptible to the human ear. This allows for an immersive audio experience that truly brings movies to life.

Specifications

Ori Original makes use of an Audio Boosting Unit (ABU), specially and custom-designed by Solus specifically for the implementation of Ori improvements into non-Ori media. The Ori Original makes use of the same codecs to the Ori B-06, except the B-06 records audio and audio alone, while Ori Original turns movie audio into Ori enhanced audio, as if the B-06 had recorded it.

In addition to the ABU, the Ori Original includes advanced wavelength technology that provides for deflection of audio off of walls and directly onto viewers and their seats, allowing them to hear movies with much more clarity. The Ori Original also includes an advanced bass control system that enhances the bass in movies, providing a much more immersive experience for viewers. This feature is perfect for action movies where the sound of explosions and gunfire can really bring the audience into the action.

Audio heard with Ori Original technology is generally lossless, with the majority of sounds being lossy by 10% or less. It does this through an advanced decompressor that then converts audio into Ori's codec and runs through it with all of the non-physical enhancements. Physical enhancements such as the wavelength technology are directly through not only the building's specific compliance requirements but the special projector as well.
