Everybody's Paretia (Luzelese: Paretia de Todos; Esmeiran: Paretia de Todos; Visegan: Paretia de Todos; Tosuton: Paretia de Tots) is a political alliance that formed in 2023 to compete in the 2024 Paretian election. It is lead by Dolores Viveiros of the political movement United for Paretia, it includes over a dozen political parties ranging across the political spectrum. It's goal is to unite the political opposition of Paretia against the government of O Povo and Acima, lead by Isilda Cerqueira. It includes political coalitions within the alliance, such as left-wing COESRA, the regionalist Regionalists of Tenoria and Deguita, and centre Democratic Responsibility.
Goal
Since 2020, Paretia has been led by Isilda Cerqueira, and eventually O Povo and the Acima political party. Accusations of democratic backsliding, failure of the rule of law, and erosion of civil rights have caused controversy in Paretia. Other events such as the return of separatist terrorism in Tosutonia and abortion protests have caused further division in the country. Calls for a united opposition to end Acima's control of the government began.
According the Dolores Viveiros, the opposition in Paretia is too divided to end the rule of Premier Cerqueira. After her victory in the Burgo Coroa mayoral election she would form the United for Paretia political movement, a nonprofit organization that with the goal of uniting the opposition. This organization would not be a political party and work outside of elections.
According to the political manifesto of Viveiros, she calls for a "United opposition that represents the beauty of democracy and political diversity. Fear of the destruction of political freedom like that of Etruria has caused it to be difficult to go against Acima. We must make sure political freedom and diversity of ideas wins against hate."
