Turky, officially the Turk Republic, is a nation in central Asia. It is bordered by Persha to the southwest, Dia to the south, Nosha to the southeast, the Goby Uninhabitable Region to the east, Tojik to the east, Tylan to the northeast, Vietbak to the far north, Manchea to the north, and Ozbek to the northwest. It has a coast with the Toms Sea to the north.
Unlike most other mining nations, Turky has decent laws for civil liberties and HRC-FS human rights, and political freedom is moderately high. A class system and gender divide is established by the Turk society and some laws enforce this. Despite the Turk society’s approval of these laws and practices, the nation is under scrutiny by other nations including the Federation of Sol.
Turky is the second largest exporter in the world of raw metals and minerals after Magarsha. Turky is dotted with mines and oil drills everywhere. Spacecraft fuel and parts are also produced in Turky, however this is an emerging industry and located mostly around the city of Zarisk. High profit industries are severely lacking in Turky, which has resulted in a large lower class population constituting 90% of the population. Recent war with Ozbek has accentuated this issue.
Etymology
Turky is named after the primary ethnic group who live in the country; Turks.
