Ian Woodward (born April 12th, 1965) is a Zamastanian businessman and politician who served as the Secretary of Energy from September 22nd, 2022 to January 14, 2023, under President Sabine Armitage. A former CEO of Genn Energy, Woodward served as a deputy-Secretary under the administration of Foley Sakzi. He was fired by president Armitage, along with several members of the administration, in the wake of the SanCorp scandal during which Woodward, SanCorp executive Darren Hunderson, and Secretary of Commerce Grayson Parker engaged in backroom deals with Yuanese business tycoon Li Feng to push policies which would have financially benefited the company and Yuanese government interests in securing construction and mining leases on Zamastanian public land. Since leaving the administration, Woodward has been mired in litigation off charges from the Justice Department stemming from his role in the scandal.

Born in White Rock, Jade, Woodward became the heir to his father Bakeman Woodward's estate. Woodward is one of the wealthiest people in the world with an estimated net worth of ℤ81 billion, with assets in multiple multinational corporations. Woodward is known for an extravagant lifestyle, wearing a red parka coat, and he is the subject of many tabloid articles.
