Elections in Lemovicia are held on a national, entity, provincial, and municipal level.
Criteria
In order to be eligible to vote in Lemovician elections, one must be:
- A Lemovician citizen, who is:
- over the age of 18 years, and
- has never been convicted of a crime, and
- Is living in territory controlled by the Lemovician State
In order to be eligible to run as a candidate for Lemovician election, one must be a Lemovician citizen, who is over the age of 18 years of age, has never been convicted of a delict, and is willing to pay a deposit of 50Ð. Should the candidate win, the deposit is returned: otherwise, they do not receive their deposit back.
Elections
Under the constitution, elections for the National Assembly are held every four years, using first-past-the-post. Unlike Kirenia and East Miersa, who do not have direct elections, the Lemovician government has direct elections for the National Assembly, due to concerns that indirect democracy may lead to distrust among Lemovicians.
