The 1976 Creeperian Coup d'État Attempt, also called the 1976 Creeperian Putsch, was a failed attempt to overthrow the influence of the Cabañeras family in the Creeperian Armed Forces and Creeperian government. The coup was lead by Sergio Arellano Stark and Manuel Contreras Sepúlveda. The two sought to overthrow the Ministry of Defense and remove Alfonso Cabañeras Moreno from office.
