The Federal Parliament of Atmora (Dutch: Federale Parlement van Atmora) is the federal legislature of Atmora, seated at the Palace of the Nation at Alexandria, Kingdom of Lieseltania. It is a bicameral parliament consisting of the House of Representatives (lower house) and the Senate (upper house).
By consitutional convention the House of Representatives is the dominant legislative body, with the Senate mostly having a dilatory right of veto that can be overturned by the House of Representatives in a two-thirds majority. However, the Senate veto on constitutional and Senate changes cannot be overturned by the House. Additionally while the House of Representatives is voted in by single transferable vote for single-member electoral districts the Senate is unelected and appointed by their respective State parliaments.
